Bible Backgrounds

This week we challenged you to take your Bible with you wherever and whenever you go. For those of us who choose to “turn on” our Bibles, here’s a smart phone and desktop/tablet background to help you remember your task!

Just right click and “Save image as…” to download the image.

New Series: “Of the Bible”

When John Wesley (the founder of Methodism) was asked “What is Methodism?” he answered: “It is the old religion… the religion of the Bible.”

Have you ever wondered what Methodism is about? Ever asked yourself what’s so important about the Bible? Are you looking to connect more deeply with God this year?

Join us Sundays from January 24th – February 14th as we explore ways that we are people of the Bible.

You can now join us in-person or online via Zoom at 10:30am on Sunday mornings! For more details, check out our COVID-19 Information Page.

New Church-Wide Study and Sermon Series

We’re so excited to travel through this Advent season together with this daily devotional book!

Written by United Methodist pastor Omar Rikabi, The Advent Mission is a daily devotional book that will teach us that Advent is about beginning with the end: preparing for the final stage of God’s new mission that resulted from our mission failure.

You can pick up a free copy of the book beginning on Sunday, November 22nd at worship, but don’t start reading until December 1st when we’ll all start together!

In addition to reading the daily devotionals on your own, Pastor Mark will be preaching a sermon series on The Advent Mission beginning Sunday November 29th and will be leading a discussion group midweek.

Be sure to join us at worship for more information and stay tuned to your email for more updates!

3 Ways to Worship

Beginning Sunday, October 4th, you are invited to worship with us in one (or more) of three ways:

  1. Sanctuary Service – 8am
  2. Outdoor Service – 10:30am
  3. Online from Home

For more information about what to expect at any of these services, please take a few minutes to watch this video:

We’re so excited to worship with you and we look forward to seeing you at church soon!

Staycation Bible School 2020

Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on our community, we were unable to host our regular Vacation Bible School program this year. But instead of “vacationing” at Bible School, we invite you to STAYCATION at Bible School this year!

Staycation Bible School is a simple ministry to your children and family with the same vision and goal as Vacation Bible School – to share the gospel story with our community.

This year’s Staycation Bible School theme is THANKFULNESS and your box will include all supplies necessary to learn and embody a biblical lesson together as a family. The box includes a story-telling set, a craft, a small gift for each child, and various other resources to support the spiritual life of your family during this time. Your Staycation Bible School box is free of charge and will be available for contactless pickup or delivery according to your schedule.

The box and the activities contained are designed to be experienced together as a family. So parents, fear not – we didn’t just sign you up to be a teacher! We think this story-telling set and other related resources will be helpful for you to learn right along with your children. The activities are simple to lead with your family and does not require any external set-up or preparation.

Drive-In worship THIS Sunday, May 24!

As I hope you’ve heard by now, the administrative council and I have decided to hold a drive-in worship service for this Sunday May 24, at 11am! I’m excited about this opportunity to worship God in a unique and fun way.

Please click here to watch a quick 3-minute announcement with some details and instructions for our gathering. Please also click here to review the attached letter

Unfortunately, it looks like there is a good chance of rain Sunday morning. If it is sure to be rainy, we will cancel our drive-in service for this week and reschedule for next week, May 31. I will make the call to cancel by Saturday afternoon, May 23.
